Arsenal 'offered audacious player-plus-cash deal' that would see Aaron Ramsey return

Juventus have reportedly approached Arsenal with an ambitious exchange deal for Hector Bellerin for Aaron Ramsey.

Mikel Arteta is planning wholesale changes during the transfer window with as many as ten senior players expected to leave as a part of the club's summer rebuild.

Bellerin is one who has been continually linked with a move away from the Emirates since the end of the season as the Gunners look to cash in on the Spaniard.

And according to Sport.ES, Juve have entered the frame for his signature with the Italians prepared to offer a player-plus-cash deal involving Ramsey, who is reportedly open to a return to the Emirates.

Ramsey has struggled to settle in Italy since the Welshman's emotional exit from Arsenal in the summer of 2019.

The midfielder has been hampered with injuries, especially this season, managing just 22 Serie A games.

With Juventus struggling financially, several players are expected to be offloaded this summer and Ramsey is said to be one of them.

And the 30-year-old is reportedly also open to the idea of parting ways with the Turin club and would 'love' a reunion with Arsenal.

Speaking to Sky Sports earlier this month, Ramsey admitted that his time at Juventus has been "frustrating".

He said: "It’s obviously been a very frustrating period for me over the last couple of years.

"I’ve picked up a few small niggly injuries which have been frustrating and I’ve not been able to get any consistency going.

"It’s been frustrating when you arrive at a new club and want to hit the ground running and show everybody what you’re capable of doing consistently.

"It’s always going to be difficult when you have these sort of little injuries that set you back a couple of weeks and then your rhythm is interrupted.

"And then you chuck in Covid as well which hasn’t helped."

When asked if he will remain at Juventus next season, Ramsey simply replied: "Yeah, I’m a Juventus player."

Meanwhile, CBS Sports reports that Arsenal have placed a £20million price tag on Bellerin as he gathers interest from Spain.

Atletico Madrid are one of his suitors and have him earmarked as a potential replacement for Kieran Trippier who is expected to return to the Premier League next season.

Villarreal, Sevilla and Real Betis have all been linked with the full-back as he looks destined to leave North London in the coming months.
