Mikel Arteta takes charge of his first home game as Arsenal head coach tomorrow afternoon.
Chelsea are the visitors to north London and the Gunners will hopeful of a repeat performance and scoreline from the corresponding fixture last season when they won 2-0 thanks to goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Laurent Koscielny.
There's also the added incentive of gaining a measure of revenge on the Blues for that 4-1 defeat in the Europa League final all the way back in May.
Some say the Gunners still haven't recovered from that defeat in Baku.
What backs that theory up is that Arsenal have won just one game across all competitions since the end of October - the 3-1 success over West Ham United almost three weeks ago - and could really do with picking up three points against the Blues.
With that said, here's all the news from around the Emirates Stadium over the past 24 hours.
Upamecano transfer boost
Arsenal have received a boost in their chase for Red Bull Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano.
Reports suggest that the German club are confident of securing his replacement.
Le Parisien (via Get French Football News ) claim that Leipzig are confident that they will secure the services of 17-year-old Paris Saint-Germain defender Tanguy Kouassi.
Should that move be completed as expected, then the it could allow defender Upamecano to get a move away, with Arsenal one of the clubs being heavily linked with a move for the 21-year-old.
Martinelli decision
Arsenal have reportedly refused to release Gabriel Martinelli for international duty next month.
The Gunners wonderkid had been rewarded for a promising start to life in England with a call-up to the Brazil squad for next month's pre-Olympic tournament in Colombia.
This would have resulted in the teenager missing up to five games across all competitions.

The reason the Gunners have been able to refuse Brazil permission to name Martinelli in their squad is because it is optional for teams to do so for nations competing in the Pre-Olympic.
This is also due to the tournament falling outside of the usual international window.
Arteta's tactical change
Eddie Howe said he noticed a change in the Gunners under Arteta during the 1-1 draw on Boxing Day.
"We didn’t quite know what to expect," he said when asked about Arsenal. "We assumed their philosophy would change and I think it did. It was quite visible to see them playing in a slightly different way.
"The system was different but we couldn't plan for that.
The change Howe speaks of is likely to be the Gunners' shape.
As pointed out by Whoscored - per @DailyAFC on Twitter - Arsenal's average position against the Cherries in comparison to the away game at Leicester City which turned out to be Emery's final away game as head coach shows a big contrast.
Arteta reluctant to sell Xhaka
The new Gunners boss is keen for Granit Xhaka to stay at Arsenal at least until the end of the season.
According to Bild, Arteta values the Switzerland international as a key player.
Furthermore, he report claims that Arteta has so far 'stood-up' to any attempts by Hertha Berlin to sign the midfielder.

This stance comes after Xhaka's agent revealed that the 27-year-old had agreed terms with the Bundesliga outfit who have apparently offered €25m (£21m) to get a deal done.
But if the Spaniard doesn't get his way, Arsenal fans have come up with 12 possible replacements for the midfielder ahead of the January transfer window.
This list includes the likes of Ruben Neves, Wilfred Ndidi and Thomas Partey. Read the full list right here.
