Arsenal news: Star explains Arsenal transfer decision, Alexandre Lacazette's message to fans

The Premier League is back, and Arsenal are preparing to take on Watford at Vicarage Road later today.

Both teams went into the international break with a draw. Arsenal coming back from 2-0 down to get a point from the north London Derby, while Watford gained their first point of the season by drawing 1-1 with Newcastle United.

The Hornets' poor start to the season has seen them replace the outgoing Javi Gracia with former manager Quique Sanchez Flores, who will be taking charge of his first match since his return against Arsenal.

With domestic football back, there has been lots of news around the Emirates Stadium.

Here is the latest from the last 24 hours:

Alex Iwobi reveals the moment he knew he needed to leave Arsenal

Alex Iwobi has revealed the moment he knew he had to leave Arsenal and join Everton this summer.

The Gunners academy winger joined the Toffees in a £30million deal after 149 appearances in north London.

With Nicolas Pepe arriving in the club-record deal, Unai Emery deemed Iwobi was surplus to requirements when Everton came calling.

Iwobi has already hit two goals in the early days of his Everton career having worked his way in Marco Silva's starting XI.

Indeed despite having started just two matches Pepe leads the Premier League in successful take-ons and already has an assist to his name following the 2-2 draw with Tottenham in the north London derby.
