Arsenal have been beaten in the Premier League for the first time since August.
The north London outfit fell behind in the first-half against Sheffield United on Monday night and despite bringing on Dani Ceballos, Alexandre Lacazette and Gabriel Martinelli after the break, an equaliser wasn't to come.
As a result, Unai Emery's side have missed the chance to reclaim a spot in the top four.
The good news is that the Gunners have the chance to respond to this setback when they welcome Vitoria to the Emirates Stadium on Thursday on matchday three in the Premier League.
But what is for sure is that fans will be expecting a much better performance and result.
With that said, here's the latest news from around the Emirates over the past 24 hours.
Player ratings
It wasn't a good night for the Gunners.
Before a ball had been kicked, Emery made a big call by leaving out Dani Ceballos in favour of Joe Willock.
Furthermore, Mesut Ozil was left out of the matchday squad once again.
But the players Emery placed faith in hardly fared any better as seen in our player ratings.
Emery transcript
Emery faced the media following the 1-0 loss and here's one of the big talking points from his press conference.
"Really, my point of view tonight is that there are things to analyse and improve.
"Defensively at the beginning of the match they pushed and we didn't stop them. We didn’t concede a lot of chances, but they had corners offensively and they can score from these corners.

"We had more than them, but we know they are a strong team in that situation and they use it to win match."

Arsenal title theory
Liverpool's winning start to the season was brought to an end against Manchester United on Sunday.
And that will have put smiles on a number of Arsenal fans' faces at least.
Arsenal do not want their Invincibles record from 2003/04 to be matched, and while Liverpool are still unbeaten there is a belief that they might just falter at some point in the season.

And their draw with United pointed to a moment in history that one eagle-eyed Gunners fan picked up on instantaneously.
It led to a big Premier League title theory too.
