Arsenal news: Sanllehi to meet Kroenke over transfer budget, huge Torreira boost, Saliba wish

There is still much work to be done this summer for Unai Emery and Arsenal.

One signing of Gabriel Martinelli will not solve the Gunners' problems.

Emery will want more signings, and, if possible, more money to spend.

And it's with the transfer budget and how it could be improved that we start with our round up of all the latest Arsenal stories from the past 24 hours.

Stan Kroenke meeting

Unai Emery has a paltry transfer budget to work with this summer.

But Arsenal chiefs are hoping that will all change.

The Gunners are heading out to America for a pre-season tour this summer, and while they are out there Raul Sanllehi and Vinai Venkatesham are keen to meet up with owner Stan Kroenke.

And while there will be a number of points to discuss, the transfer budget is likely to be high among them.

Here's what we know about the meeting between the Arsenal hierarchy.

Torreira boost

In an attempt to boost the summer budget, Emery could offload come players.

One of those that has been strongly linked has been Lucas Torreira, although Emery and the Gunners fans would be loathe to lose the little Uruguayan who has only been with the club for one season.

Torreira has been linked with a move back to Italy and with AC Milan, who are now managed by Marco Giampaolo, Torreira's former Sampdoria manager.

But the diminutive midfielder has been saying all the right things when it comes to dispensing with those rumours.

Here's what he's been saying.

Ryan Fraser hint

The trail has gone somewhat cold on Ryan Fraser to Arsenal recently.

The Scottish winger was heavily linked with a Gunners move earlier in the summer transfer window, but all has gone quiet.

That was until Wednesday afternoon, when social media channels started getting excited about a potential transfer breakthrough.

We take a look at just why that was.

Saliba's wish

William Saliba is one of the players that Emery wants to bring in to solve his defensive problems.

the 18-year-old centre-back is highly regarded in France, impressing for Saint Etienne.

However, there is a problem. St Etienne want to include a season-long loan back clause in any transfer for the wonderkid, with Arsenal needing reinforcements now.

But what does the player himself want?

Here's an indication of his wishes.
