But Alexandre Lacazette equalised thanks to a Bukayo Saka cross, before the winger scored the equaliser with a smart finish into the bottom corner.

Man City fans of Mauricio Pochettino

According to  The Mail , Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has a break release clause inserted in his contract which would allow him to leave the Etihad at the end of this season.

Guardiola only signed a new two-year contract last season, but should he leave, the report claims that City have drawn up contingency plans with officials at the Etihad Stadium admirers of former Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino.

Pochettino has also been closely linked with a move to Arsenal in recent weeks, with reports claiming that the Gunners are keen to speak to the Argentinian.

The former Spurs boss has made no secret of his desire to return to the Premier League, and if City's failure in the title race results in Guardiola's departure, Pochettino may find it hard to turn down the Citizens.
