Arsenal news: Aaron Ramsey reveals the reason why he left Arsenal, Kieran Tierney's message

Arsenal were back in Europa League action on Thursday night, as they beat Standard Liege 4-0 in their second match of this season's competition.

The Gunners were 3-0 victors in the opening game against Eintracht Frankfurt and got a similar result and performance against their Belgian opposition, as two goals from Gabriel Martinelli, and one apiece for Joe Willock and Dani Ceballos sealed the three points.

In the Premier League, Unai Emery's men drew 1-1 against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's goal firing the Gunners level in the second half.

But attention now turns to the weekend's action, and with a home clash against Bournemouth on the agenda, here's the latest news doing the rounds in North London.

Kieran Tierney: It is an honour to play for Arsenal

Kieran Tierney says that it was "an absolute honour" that Arsenal wanted to sign him and that he feels privileged to play for the Gunners.

The 22-year-old joined Arsenal from Celtic in the summer for £25million, a record transfer fee for a Scottish club, but had to wait for several weeks to make his debut for his new side as he recovered from hip and groin injuries.

Tierney has set about repaying the faith Arsenal showed on him with two impressive performances so far, registering an assist in his first full 90 minutes with the club as Unai Emery's side ran out 4-0 winners over Standard Liege in their Europa League group stage game.
