Here are the Arsenal morning headlines for Wednesday, August 12.
Chambers ‘to be sold’ to help fund Partey bid
The Express report that Arsenal will look to sell Calum Chambers to raise £12million towards their Thomas Partey fund.
The defender made 18 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners last season, but Mikel Arteta is set to give the green light for him to depart.
Fulham took Chambers on loan during the 2018/19 season and are said to be keen on retaining his services, having just secured their return to the top flight.
The 25-year-old has been sidelined since suffering a serious knee injury against Chelsea and will likely miss the start of the new season, but is targeting a return by October.
Costa linked with Lacazette tipped to move in the opposite direction
Arsenal and Juventus are currently considering a swap deal between Alexandre Lacazette and Douglas Costa, according to reports in Italy.
Tuttomercato suggest that former Bayern Munich winger Costa will be allowed to leave the Serie A champions this summer and that Mikel Arteta is interested in the 29-year-old.
Lacazette scored 10 goals in 30 Premier League appearances for the Gunners last campaign and could be allowed to leave.
But the France international has recently stated his desire to remain at the Emirates this summer.
"We know that Auba has a lot of discussion with the club but I can't put my future in someone else,” he said.

Arsenal receive boost in Coutinho chase
Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed that Philippe Coutinho will leave the Bundesliga club when his loan from Barcelona expires.
Arsenal are reportedly keen on taking the 28-year-old Brazil international on loan next season, with the player out of favour at the Camp Nou following his unsuccessful €160m move from Liverpool in January 2018.
"As I said, the contract is running out and we cannot and will not make any further investments of this magnitude,” said Rummenigge.
Coutinho has scored nine goals in 35 appearances for the treble-chasing Bundesliga champions this season, and he could be set to feature against his parent club in the Champions League quarter-final on Friday.
