Here are the Arsenal morning headlines for Tuesday, August 25.
Arsenal set to lose teenage starlet
Arsenal youngster Sam Greenwood looks set to leave the club this summer amid interest from Manchester United and Leeds United.
The 18-year-old joined the Gunners from Sunderland in 2018 and recently graduated to the under-23 team after a prolific season at youth level.
Greenwood scored 15 goals in 39 matches last time out, but he could be on his way in the coming weeks.
The Express report that Arsenal are willing to sell the teenager for an initial £1.5million, rising to £3m with add-ons.
As well as Manchester United and Leeds, Italian duo Juventus and Milan are also keeping tabs on the situation.
Man City reveal Aouar transfer strategy
Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar as Mikel Arteta seeks to bolster his midfield.
The Frenchman was one of the most impressive performers in the knockout stage of the Champions League, helping Lyon all the way to the semi-finals.
Arsenal face competition for his signature from Manchester City, whose chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak has outlined the club’s transfer plans.
“If you look at the acquisitions we have made over the past couple of years, there’s a consistency in the type of player we have targeted in terms of age and quality,” he said, per the Manchester Evening News.
“So we will continue down that road. The age bracket, we are always looking at it as a priority for the first team, in that 20 to 25-year-old category - that’s kind of the spot that we like.”
Aouar is 22 years old and therefore falls into the category of players City will be targeting.
Gabriel rejects Napoli for Arsenal
Gabriel Magalhaes is on the verge of sealing a £22m switch to Arsenal from Lille, with an announcement expected soon.
The Gunners won the race for his services after reported interest from Manchester United, Everton and Napoli.

The Italian side pushed Arsenal hardest but Gabriel ultimately chose the Gunners as he wanted his future resolved quickly.
According to Brazilian outlet UOL, Napoli wanted to sell Kalidou Koulibaly before completing a deal for the Lille centre-back.
Gabriel did not want to wait around and also had concerns that the sale of Koulibaly could collapse, potentially leaving him in limbo.
