Here are the Arsenal morning headlines on Friday, June 5.
Arsenal handed boost in Milik pursuit - report
Napoli are prepared to lower their asking price for Arkadiusz Milik in an effort to sell the forward to clubs outside of Italy, according to La Repubblica.
The Poland international has enjoyed another productive campaign for the Serie A side, scoring 12 goals in 22 matches in all competitions, and is said to have attracted interest from Arsenal.
With just one year remaining on his contract, Napoli are prepared to cash in on the 26-year-old this summer.
And amid reported interest from the Gunners and several Premier League sides, the Partenopei are said to have set Milik’s asking price at £45m.
Aubameyang drops contract hint?
The future of Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been the source of constant speculation this season.
The Gabon international is out of contract in 2021 and the Gunners have long been expected to cash in on the 30-year-old this summer rather than lose him for nothing in 12 months time.
Gunners fans haven’t given up hope of Aubameyang staying, however. And as the forward took part in an interview with comedian and Arsenal supporter Matt Lucas on the club’s YouTube channel, he was bombarded with requests to sign a new contract.

One fan even asked Aubameyang to laugh if he was going to remain at the Emirates.
Moments later he chuckled at a joke from Lucas. Coincidence? You decide.
Gunners wonderkid teases move away
Arsenal youngster Alfie Matthews has posted cryptic messages on Instagram which intimate a move away from the club this summer.
The striker has struck five goals in 15 matches in the Under-18s Premier League this term and has also made three appearances in the FA Youth Cup.
However, in January he was linked with a transfer to Newcastle United by Football Insider and on Thursday afternoon Matthews posted a photograph on his Instagram Story with the caption: "Another good session today! We keep pushing towards this big move."
Later in the day, he followed that up with another image which was captioned: "These running sessions are not what I want! But we push towards this big move."
