
Arsenal have held talks with Mikel Arteta as they step up their search for a new permanent manager.
Arsenal managing director, Vinai Venkatesham, and director of football operations, Huss Fahmy, were pictured leaving the Spaniard’s house in Manchester late last night.
The Gunners are expected to hold talks with a number of candidates this week with Carlo Ancelotti, Massimiliano Allegri and Patrick Vieira also in the frame.
But the Man City assistant manager now appears to be the firm front runner for the job.
