Odegaard interest lodged

Arsenal have expressed an interest in signing Martin Odegaard on loan from Real Madrid for the remainder of the season.

Podolski slams Ozil treatment

Arsenal cult hero Lukas Podolski has slammed the Gunners for their treatment of Mesut Ozil, stating it was 'absolutely not okay'.

The Germany international is closing in on a move to join Fenerbache on a free transfer, with a mutual termination of his Arsenal contract, and Podolski is unhappy with how things have panned out for his compatriot.

“I generally think with a player who is now in his sixth or seventh year with the club, to kick him completely out of the squad, that’s absolutely not okay,” he told Bild, via the Evening Standard.

“He’s shown his class on the pitch, he’s never been negative towards his colleagues or the club. Arsenal as a club have not looked positive in this situation over the last months.
