Arsenal are ready to offload Ainsley Maitland-Niles for £20m as they look to put together a lucrative deal to secure Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's services.
The right-back is not part of Mikel Arteta's long-term plans at the Emirates but the Gunners are still seeking a hefty fee.
The 22-year-old may not be the only fringe player on the way out as the Spaniard looks to shape his squad.
But amid the potential turnover of players Arteta hopes to retain Aubameyang who has been linked with a move elsewhere.
The Gabon international has been Arsenal's main source of goals since joining in 2018.
But his contract is set to enter its final year and the likes of Barcelona, Inter Milan and Chelsea have all been linked.
Arsenal are set for another year without Champions League football and are looking to put together an attractive package in order to keep their leading marksman, reports The Sun.
Maitland-Niles has made 23 appearances for the Gunners this term, scoring the once.
Emile Smith-Rowe is another youngster who has attracted attention following a loan spell away at Huddersfield.
But it is likely to take a hefty offer to convince the Gunners to sell the 19-year-old.
Their top priority though is keeping hold of Aubameyang.
His 20 goals this term have been crucial following a stellar showing last season that saw him pick up the Golden Boot.
However former Gunners frontman Ian Wright has warned Aubameyang about the dangers of prolonging his contract negotiations.
He said: "If the season was still going and he continued scoring goals then he'd be in a strong position.
"But I think the position he's in now - we're talking about someone who's going to be 32 next summer.
"He is getting into a situation where if he does see that contract out, are the same people going to come for him?"
