Arsenal have the 13th most valuable squad in the world as they feel the effects of the ongoing impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
Last season's FA Cup winners trail the likes of Liverpool, both Manchester clubs, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and European champions Bayern Munich in the latest figures released by Transfermarkt.
Furthermore, the Gunners are calculated to have the third most valuable squad in London.
This is despite investing heavily in the squad during the summer transfer window.
The arrivals of Willian, Gabriel Magalhaes, Dani Ceballos (loan), Alex Runarsson, and Thomas Partey means Mikel Arteta's squad is valued at £568.76m.
Just a few months ago, the overall value of the squad was £636.08m, as a result, the squad value has plummetted by £67.32m.
Club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is joint with Partey as the two most valuable players across the entire squad at £45m, while Alexandre Lacazette completes the top three as he's valued at £37.80m.
Wonderkid Bukayo Saka makes the top five as he's valued at £36m after signing a new long-term deal earlier in the year and club-record signing Nicolas Pepe has the same value.
Liverpool, the reigning champions of England, have been calculated as having the most valuable squad in the world following last month’s arrivals of Thiago Alcantara and Diogo Jota which has helped bump their squad value to £991.08m.
With that said, the Premier League’s spending power is demonstrated with as many as six clubs inside the top 15.
