Arsenal loanee Denis Suarez says 'let them keep talking' as rumours swirl over future

Denis Suarez appears to have responded to recent reports over his Arsenal future - or rumoured lack thereof - in a post on social media.

The Spanish midfielder joined the Gunners from Barcelona on January deadline day on a loan deal until the end of the season, though has yet to start a single match across all competitions.

Suarez, who also worked under Unai Emery at Sevilla, has made just four uneventful substitute appearances in the Premier League to date, playing only 95 minutes of football in total for the club.

It is certainly not the impact that most fans were hoping for and The Sun recently suggested that Arsenal would not take up their option to sign the 25-year-old on a permanent basis in the summer as they search for alternative options.

Suarez trained with his team-mates not called up for international duty on Tuesday and afterwards appeared to issue a response to critics and that recent speculation via his Instagram stories.

"Back on [sic] training with," he wrote next to an smiling face emoji, before adding: "Let them keep talking."

Suarez, who was an unused substitute during Arsenal's 3-0 Europa League last-16 second-leg victory over Rennes last Thursday, will hope to add to his meagre appearance total after the current international break as Arsenal host Newcastle at the Emirates Stadium on April 1.
