Good afternoon and welcome to our latest Arsenal Q&A with football.london club writer Art de Roche.
A tough Premier League season has come to an end with Mikel Arteta's side finishing eighth in the table - their lowest finish in over 25 years.
Despite the disappointment that'll come with this, the Gunners still have something to play for. This weekend [August 1] they head to Wembley to face Chelsea in the FA Cup final. Should they win, they will secure Europa League qualification for next season after failing to do so via their league position.
Ahead of the cup final, Arteta has already confirmed one decision he will make on the day as he told football.london Emi Martinez will start in goal.
"Emi has earned his place with another brilliant performance again today. When the team needed him he made some fantastic saves," he said in his post-match press conference.
"Bernd is still recovering from his injuries so Emi's the one now.
"In football next week is too much. Let's hope that he's available for the game and if that's the case he will start the final."
As well as addressing Arsenal's hopes of lifting the FA Cup, there will be an assessment of Arteta's debut season in charge of the club as well as the latest transfer news surrounding the club.
On July 24, football.london revealed that the Gunners' interest in Malang Sarr is genuine but they are not in a position to make an offer currenrtly.
