Arsenal live Q&A: Contract and transfer updates, Matteo Guendouzi, Tyrone Mings and Neto

After two defeats in their two matches since the return of football the pressure is ratcheting up at Arsenal.

Certainly now is not the sort of time where Mikel Arteta would want three immediate contractual concerns hovering over him ahead of Thursday's trip to Southampton.

That is what he has, however with the futures of Dani Ceballos, David Luiz and Cedric Soares all to be clarified before the end of the day. An announcement could come in the coming hours with Arsenal expected to announce that Ceballos' loan from Real Madrid has been extended until the end of the season.

As for the other two it is much less clear. Cedric has not featured once since being loaned from Southampton whilst Arsenal opted not to activate the extension clause in Luiz's contract as they mull the financial implications of the coronavirus crisis on the club.

Meanwhile there is the future of key players such as Bukayo Saka to discuss, as well possible transfers amid links with Tyrone Mings and the actions of Matteo Guendouzi.
