Granit Xhaka has been named in Unai Emery's starting line-up for Arsenal's Europa League clash against Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Swiss midfielder was stripped of the captaincy after a furious outburst aimed towards the club's fans when he was substituted against Crystal Palace last month.
But after publicly apologising to the supporters and receiving the backing of Emery, Xhaka has been welcomed back into the fold for Thursday's match at the Emirates Stadium.
The 27-year-old returns to the starting line-up for the first time since the match on October 27 and lines up alongside Joe Willock as Emery rotates his squad.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been handed the armband and the Gabonese striker leads the line alongside teenage forwards Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.
Shkodran Mustafi, who scored in the 1-1 draw with Vitoria last time out, lines up with David Luiz and Sokratis Papastathopoulos in the three-man defence as Emery looks to end up a run of six games without a win.
