Arsenal legend Thierry Henry explains why he gets tired watching Liverpool

Thierry Henry says he gets tired just watching Liverpool because they move to the ball so quickly and play with such intensity.

Jurgen Klopp's Reds have taken the Premier League by storm this season with their heavy metal, Gegenpressing football.

As things stand, Liverpool are 19 points clear at the top of the table, and well on their way to winning a first top-flight title since 1990.

Arsenal legend Henry was part of the Invincibles team that won the league without suffering defeat over the course of the campaign in 2004.

Liverpool are on course to do the same this season, and Henry has heaped praise on the way in which Klopp's men move so quickly.

"The intensity, the rhythm that you have in the Premier League, it's very high," Henry told French television channel Canal Plus.

"You see, when you watch Liverpool, even just watching them, you get tired. They move so quickly.

"When you go to Manchester City, before you have even looked up, there is pressing on you. If you control the ball, there are already three guys around you.

"The Premier League's intensity is immense."

Liverpool are in action against West Ham on Monday night, six days after they were beaten 1-0 by Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.

A win over the Hammers would see Klopp's men move 22 points clear of Man City in second, after the Citizens beat third-placed Leicester City 1-0 at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
