Eddie Nketiah's time at Leeds United has started with a bang.
The striker got on the scoresheet during the Carabao Cup victory over Salford City, capping his debut in the best possible way.
The 20-year-old enjoyed an excellent pre-season with Arsenal on their pre-season tour of America, leading some to suggest that he could play a key part in Unai Emery's plans this term.
However the decision was made to allow the youngster to get some regular first team football with the Championship promotion hopefuls.
That decision looks to have paid off with a goal against Salford City.
Nketiah's performance sparked a social media from an Arsenal legend Ian Wright who couldn't hide his delight for the young Gunner.
Writing on Twitter, Wright said: "Yes Eddie!!!!! Off the mark!'"
Arsenal fans will certainly be hoping his strike against Salford City will be the first of many, as if he can impress in the Championship, the Gunners could have a real player on their hands.
