Chelsea picked up their first home win of the season as they dispatched with Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.
It was relief for head coach Frank Lampard, who admitted after the game that people "might stop talking about it now" with a smile on his face.
The Blues were well worth the three points against the Seagulls, although they did have a few nervy moments, particularly in the second half.
That is understandable with a young team, given they let leads slip at Stamford Bridge against both Leicester City and Sheffield United.
Jorginho opened the scoring from the penalty spot, before Willian added a second after half-time to secure the victory.
And it was the Italian midfielder who drew particular praise from Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson.
Merson was watching the game for Soccer Saturday and he said: "I thought Jorginho was absolutely outstanding. What's helping him is he's got legs around him, he's got [Mason] Mount, Willian, [Ross] Barkley, and he just gives them the ball, he can spray it around the pitch.
"He is probably one of the best penalty takers in the league in my opinion, too."
And Merson believes the result and the way the Blues are playing will help them in the long run as they aim for a top four spot.
He added: "There were phases in the game where they played very well.
"In between those goals there were a lot of nerves from Chelsea and you could feel the nervousness in the stands from the fans.
"The fans got nervous, the players got nervous but when they got that second goal they started passing it around again.
"Every week they get another Premier League game under their belt and when you win football matches that breeds confidence.
"It was stability at the start of the season and now you're thinking 'this could be top four' they've got some very, very good players, Chelsea are a lot stronger than people think."
