Arsenal legend names the player who should not start vs Tottenham and it will shock fans

All eyes will be on the Emirates Stadium this afternoon as two of English football's heavyweights go head-to-head.

The North London Derby is one of the biggest fixtures in the football calendar and it is early this season.

Arsenal host the first clash between the two teams and will go into the game as favourites, not least because of their fine record at hoe against their fierce rivals, but after Spurs' indifferent start to the new season.

Tottenham go into the game off the back of a shock home defeat to Newcastle last weekend.

Arsenal did not fare much better, however, although they were beaten by league leaders and 100 per centers Liverpool at Anfield.

Arsenal vs Spurs is always a high-intensity, blood and thunder, entertaining encounter.

And Gunners legend Alan Smith believes there is one player who should not start the match. And it may shock the Arsenal fans.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Smith said: "Dani Ceballos, the game passed him by at Anfield, it was so quick and it's going to be quick again."

Pochettino denies 'stupid rumours' over quitting as Tottenham manager

Smith backed Ceballos to start the game on the bench, a place Mesut Ozil will probably find himself too.

Smith added: "Emery hasn't used Ozil in the big games and given he's not played a game yet, I would doubt he would be [included]. He'll be on the bench maybe."

And Smith hopes head coach Unai Emery unleashes the front three of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe on Spurs.

"It'll be fascinating to see if he plays all three up top. I'd love to see that, to test Tottenham," he admitted.
