Arsenal legend Ian Wright has message for Eddie Nketiah after his double for England's U21 side

It has been a great start to the season for young Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah.

The 20-year-old, who is currently on loan at Championship side Leeds United, has enjoyed a positive start to the campaign, with three goals in five appearances for the Yorkshire side.

Nketiah, who scored his first Premier League goal for Arsenal on the final day of last season against Burnley, has scored some vital goals for Marcelo Bielsa's side, with two goals in the EFL Cup and one in the Championship against Brentford.

But it is not only at club level that Nketiah has been impressing, with the 20-year-old scoring twice for England's U21 side as Aidy Boothroyd's men won 3-2 against Turkey on Friday night in a qualifier for the European Championships in 2021.

Nketiah was not the only Arsenal star on target in the game, with Reiss Nelson also scoring as England's Young Lions kicked off their qualifying campaign with a victory.

And one former Arsenal striker has been enjoying the success of the Gunners pair, with Ian Wright retweeting a post from the club's account praising the duo.

But Wright, who has been described by Nketiah as his mentor, has sent another message to Nketiah in response to his latest post on Instagram.

As can be seen above, Nketiah took to the social networking website to share his delight at scoring twice and helping England to three points to kick off the qualifying campaign.

And Wright responded to Nketiah with one word - "Confidence" - which sums up how the Arsenal forward must be feeling at the moment.

Indeed, with five goals so far this season for club and country, Nketiah will be full of confidence ahead of his return to Leeds this week.
