Arsenal legend Ian Wright believes that Hakim Ziyech is a 'brilliant' signing for Chelsea.
The Blues failed to bring in any new players in January to add to their ranks for the top four race.
However, Chelsea have already made their first summer signing by agreeing a fee for the Moroccan from Ajax.
The winger will be 27 when he arrives in west London on July 1, and for a price of just €40million it is seen as a real steal for the talented player.
And Wright believes that Chelsea have landed a coup in bringing in the winger who can do for the club what Eden Hazard did for the Blues.
"The thing with Ziyech is that he’s one of those creative players and when you watch Chelsea, especially at home, I think they were expecting a bit more for their creative players," Wright told Premier League Productions.
"And then because of what Eden Hazard did for them, they had one particular player who in that role could make something happen.
"I think it’s a brilliant signing. If he can hit anywhere near the form [he’s shown for Ajax] it’s a fantastic signing."
