Arsenal legend explains how the players can save Unai Emery's job vs Frankfurt

Unai Emery is under intense pressure at Arsenal and the result at home to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League tonight could be key to his future.

The Spaniard is enduring a tough second season at the Emirates with little progress having been made since Arsene Wenger's tenure at the club came to an end.

Arsenal sit eighth in the Premier League and whilst they were in a strong position in the Europa League ahead of the clash tonight, Emery's future has been a big talking point this week.

Club legend Martin Keown is on punditry duties this evening for BT Sport and Emery's future came up prior to the contest.

Asked ahead of the game if Emery needed a performance to show the players are still behind him, Keown told BT Sport: "One hundred percent. We want the club to be unified tonight with the fans and the players.

"The performance needs to go with it. Do your talking on the pitch and let's see if Arsenal are good enough tonight to finish off the job in Europe."

Wolves' boss Nuno Espirito Santo is on the list of potential replacements for Arsenal with Emery currently on thin ice at the club.

Arsenal are still willing to give Emery time to turn his side's fortunes around but that viewpoint could well change sooner rather than later.
