Arsenal launch throwback kit as club reissue 'iconic' '90s home shirt

Arsenal have launched a new throwback kit collection and reissued “one of the most iconic shirts in the club’s history”.

Adidas and Arsenal have teamed up to “travel back to the early ‘90s” and celebrate the classic red and white 1992–1994 home kit.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright joined current players including Victor Gyokeres, Jurrien Timber and Myles Lewis-Skelly to unveil the collection, which adidas say is “built for both lifelong Gooners and a new generation embracing vintage football culture”.

The shirt features a solid red base with vertical stripes, paired with classic white sleeves finished with red, navy adidas three-stripe banding and the JVC sponsor.

Its V-neck collar comes in a thick white base trimmed in red and navy, like the original early ‘90s design.

“Adidas and Arsenal travel back to the early ‘90s to reissue one of the most iconic shirts in the club’s rich history,” said a statement.

“The Arsenal Bring-Back Collection celebrates the unforgettable 1992–1994 home kit, a design that became synonymous with a new era at Highbury - blending football heritage, bold design, and cultural significance.”

The collection includes a matching hoodie and track pants, as well a special edition adidas Gazelle sneaker. The collection is available online at adidas.com.
