Arsenal kit 2020/21: Gunners reveal new Adidas home jersey in homage to club's heritage

Arsenal have unveiled their new Adidas home kit for the 2020/21 season.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Kieran Tierney, David Luiz, Matteo Guendouzi and Bukayo Saka have starred in the launch.

As has Arsenal Women captain Kim Little, who was joined by Leah Williamson, Leonie Maier and Daniëlle van de Donk to show off the new jersey.

The design is in reference to the prolific “Art Deco” period in the 1930/40s.

While the collaboration with the German outfitter shines a light on the club’s geometric crest used from 1936-49, with the chevron graphic inspired by the “A” within.

It is also a tribute to the layout of the tiling on the floors of the East Stand’s famous marble halls at the club’s home before the move to the Emirates Stadium in 2006.

The Gunners are now into year two of their five-year, £300m deal with Adidas, replacing Puma last year.

The new jersey will be released in stores on 23 July
