Arsenal Invincible Martin Keown's brilliant two-word verdict on Mauricio Pochettino links

Arsenal have parted ways with Unai Emery and naturally that has ignited the Mauricio Pochettino to the Gunners links once again, with one former star player offering up his thoughts.

Emery was in his second season at the club after taking over from Arsene Wenger and simply put, there had been no progress made since his first campaign.

If anything, Arsenal were going backwards and following the seventh game without a win after Thursday's defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League, the board struck the final nail in Emery's coffin.

Another manager to have suffered the same fate this month is former Tottenham boss Pochettino, who was swiftly replaced by Jose Mourinho.

Pochettino still left Spurs with his reputation intact, though, due to four consecutive top-four finishes and a Champions League final appearance at Arsenal's bitter rivals.

The Argentine would not be the first man to make the switch, with George Graham the biggest name to have famously succeeded at the Gunners and managed Tottenham, though he did it the other way around.

Arsenal legend Martin Keown was on talkSPORT this morning and the prospect of Pochettino joining Arsenal so soon after leaving Spurs was brought up, something which led to a brilliant response and a strong two-word verdict.

Keown laughed before saying: "Look, he's an outstanding manager. That's going to be the speculation now."
