Arsenal have launched a bid to sign Real Madrid star Lucas Vazquez, according to AS .
The Spanish newspaper claim the two clubs have already entered negotiations over the winger, with the Gunners set to enter talks with the player over a deal worth €35m which could be concluded early next week.
The price tag would see the north London club pay an initial £28.7m, with a further £2.7m in add-ons attached to the deal.
Vazquez, 28, is one of the players who could be shipped out by returning boss Zinedine Zidane as part of his summer rebuild at the Bernabeu.
The signing of Eden Hazard has dropped him further down the pecking order for wide players, and the Gunners are poised to swoop with Crystal Palace looking likely to price them out of a move for Wilfried Zaha.
AS claim Vazquez is keen on a Premier League move, although he could use interest and offers from Inter Milan, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain to strengthen his position when negotiating with Arsenal .
Vazquez was informed by Zidane he was not in his plans after a meeting at the start of the summer due to the arrivals of Hazard, Rodrygo and Luka Jovic.
