Arsenal in 'solid' Odsonne Edouard approach as Celtic slap £22million price tag on star striker

Arsenal are reportedly keen on a £21.6m move for Odsonne Edouard in the summer, having made a "solid enquiry".

The Celtic star is out of contract in the summer of 2022 and is expected to move on in the summer.

Italian giants Milan and Roma are thought to be interested, while there's also the prospect of a reunion with Brendan Rodgers at Leicester City.

A switch to Arsenal has also been mooted and it's claimed that Celtic have named their asking price.

According to the Transfer Window podcast, Edouard would be available for around €25million (£21.6m).

Arsenal are said to have made a "solid enquiry" for the French Under-21 international.

Selling Edouard could fund a summer rebuild as a new manager and director of football look to reshape the squad to regain the Premiership title.

At the Emirates he would be a replacement for Alexandre Lacazette who is 29 and could move on in the summer.
