Arsenal have reportedly identified Dennis Praet as a midfield replacement for the departing Aaron Ramsey.
The Gunners were interested in the 24-year-old Belgian last summer but cooled their interest and a transfer never materalised.
Arsenal are set to lose Ramsey at the end of the season, after the Wales international put pen to paper on a £500,000-a-week deal with Italian champions Juventus ahead of his contract expiring in north London.
Praet has previously played alongside Arsenal fans' favourite Lucas Torreira.
The pair lined up alongside one another at Sampdoria, and enjoyed a strong relationship in the middle of the park.

And, according to Corriere dello Sport, the Gunners are reportedly still interested in signing Praet for around £17million to partner Torreira at Arsenal.

The Spaniard will be afforded around £40million to spend when the transfer window opens, but this could increase should Arsenal finish in the top four.
