Harry Winks caught the eye on Thursday evening as he helped England register a stunning 7-0 win over Montenegro in their Euro 2020 qualifier.
Doing well in their previous game in Sofia against Bulgaria in October, Gareth Southgate elected to keep the Spurs man in his starting XI and he didn't disappoint with a very good display.
Helping the team move forward with some good passing, the 23-year-old also won back possession a number of times with his pressing as he gave the opposition no time on the ball.
Winks was joined in midfield by Trent Alexander-Arnold in the closing stages after the Liverpool man had moved forward from his right-back role after Mason Mount's sustitution.
Tipped to become a permanent fixture in the middle of the park in years to come due to his attributes, Martin Keown believes that the right-back could challenge Winks for a place in the Three Lions' team.
"He is an absolute a joy to watch play. It was as if he was wandering around Wembley with a golf bag, picking up a pitching wedge or a seven iron," he told talkSPORT.
"The capability he has with his left foot, right foot…. I was sat with Sol Campbell last night trying to argue that he should play centre midfield for England.

"Traditionally you give the ball to a midfield player and he is a better player than you and a midfield player gives it to a front player who is also perhaps better than that player. When Winks gets the ball, is he better than Alexander-Arnold?
"I take nothing away from Winks because he had another decent night last night but I think Alexander-Arnold could go in there and pull the strings for England.
"We have a catalogue of other full-backs that can be used in that right-back position. Kyle Walker wasn’t even in the squad, Kieran Trippier didn’t play last night, we have Reece James coming through at Chelsea.
"He is more than capable Alexander-Arnold of playing in the England midfield."
Winks will be hoping to keep his place in the England team on Sunday when they take on Kosovo in their final Euro 2020 qualifier.
