Arsenal have "never" made an approach to Paris Saint-Germain over signing defender Layvin Kurzawa, according to sporting director Leonardo.
Kurzawa, who has started PSG's last two games, is free to speak to clubs outside France about signing as a free agent this summer with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.
Standard Sport understands the 27-year-old is a transfer target for Mikel Arteta, though discussions over a Bosman move would not involve his current club.
Leonardo says no club have approached PSG over a January move for Kurzawa.
"We never had a proposal, zero, for Kurzawa," Leonardo told reporters on Sunday evening.
"He plays a lot of matches. He is a player at the end of the contract but we haven't heard anything. Arsenal have never called."
Edinson Cavani has also been heavily linked with a move away from the club, and Leonard confirmed the striker has requested a transfer amid interest from Atletico Madrid.
"Today, he asked to leave and we are studying the situation," Leonardo said.
"It is also true that we had a proposal from Atletico Madrid but we did not accept it.
"This is the transfer window, I can't tell you how much in financial terms: [it was] important but not in terms of player value.
"We are listening and, honestly, I do not know how it will end. Today we are a little more distant from Atletico Madrid because we haven't had any contact in recent days.
"We will see how it goes but, today, the only thing there has been is a proposal."
