Arsenal have decided next transfer after confirming loan deals for Harry Clarke and Omar Rekik

Arsenal have a third loan deal in the pipeline after confirming moves for Harry Clarke and Omar Rekik, football.london understands.

The former, who was recalled from his spell at Hibernian over the weekend, will get to test himself at a higher level in the Championship next season with Stoke City, whilst the latter has joined Dutch Eredivisie side Sparta Rotterdam to get regular game time ahead of the winter World Cup.

Rekik was included in the Tunisia squad for the Africa Cup of Nations earlier in the year, making two appearances during their run to the quarter-final stage and has made the move to Holland to ensure his spot on the plane to Qatar is not more or less secured barring injury or a loss of form.

Even with two deals completed on Monday, Arsenal's business doesn't stop there as football.london can reveal that highly-rated centre-forward Mika Biereth is following Rekik to the Netherlands by joining RKC Waalwijk on a season-long loan deal.

An arrival on a free transfer last summer after turning down a professional contract at London rivals Fulham, the 19-year-old caught the eye in his debut season with the Gunners by netting 12 goals and weighing in with five assists in 26 appearances across all competitions.

As reported by football.london back in November, the plan had been to gradually integrate Biereth into the first-team last season with a view to going out on loan in the 2022/23 campaign and with a move to RKC imminent it shows everything regarding the Dane's development is going smoothly.

Biereth trained with the first-team - alongside the likes of Alexandre Lacazette, Eddie Nketiah, Nicolas Pepe, Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe - on numerous occasions last season and made the bench for one Premier League game as well as three cup ties without getting on.

Furthermore, it's understood that both deals are possible because they have dual passports - Rekik (Tunisia and Netherlands), Biereth (Denmark and England) which is important to consider given the new Brexit regulations that came into place at the beginning of 2021.

Last week football.london also revealed that young defender Mazeed Ogungbo will be available to head out on loan this summer. The 19-year-old signed his first professional contract last year and went on to become a regular for Kevin Betsy's under-23 side, making 19 Premier League 2 appearances.

His was then included in the first-team squad amid a defensive crisis for Premier League matches against Crystal Palace and Southampton, was involved as the Gunners beat Brentford B 4-1 in a behind-closed-doors friendly at London Colney in March and is now keen to test himself at senior level amid attracting interest from several clubs in both League One and League Two.
