Arsenal are interested in Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu.
Manager Dick Advocaat has seemingly confirmed.
The 19-year-old currently plays his football in the Netherlands and has been attracting interest from across Europe, with a series of standout displays in midfield this season.
And there's talk of hi, making a move to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Last week the Daily Mail reported that the north London outfit have opened talks with Feyenoord about a potential move for the teenager in a deal that could end up costing in the region of £23m.
It's been reported that technical director Edu has identified Kokcu as a priority signing for the summer, with Arsenal keen to tie up a move before Euro 2020, with Kokcu set to take part for Turkey.
Advocaat has since broken his silence on such rumours as he effectively confirmed the Gunners' interest in his midfielder and also stressed that Feyenoord haven't received an offer.
"It seems that what I read is true," Advocaat told Fox Sports.
"But no one has yet come to Feyenoord.
The Dutchman also revealed where Kokcu would fit in at Arsenal should be complete a £23m transfer.
"I think he fits everywhere," he added.
Furthermore, the aforementioned report claims that Gunners head coach Mikel Arteta is keen to oversee a summer clear-out at the Emirates Stadium in order to fund a move for Kokcu.
Matteo Guendouzi, Sokratis and Ainsley Maitland-Niles are those mentioned who under threat of being sold at the end of the season, while top earner Mesut Ozil could also be allowed to leave.
Kokcu has often played as an attacking midfielder this season, scoring three times and weighing in with six assists in 35 appearances across all competitions thus far.
