Unai Emery and Arsenal have been handed a huge injury boost ahead of the weekend trip to Watford.
The Gunners travel to Vicarage Road to take on a Watford side with a new manager at the helm, but they could do so with a player who has been missing since December.
Rob Holding has been out of action since rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament during the draw with Manchester United last December.
But having returned to action with the U23s, the centre-back is now ready to return to the first team fold.
An injury update on the club's official website declared that Holding was "now back in full training with the first team squad".
And there was further good news for head coach Unai Emery on the injury front too, with confirmation that trio Hector Bellerin, Kieran Tierney and Konstantinos Mavropanos are all nearing a return to action.
In the case of Bellerin and Tierney, who were expected out until October, they appear to be ahead of schedule in their recoveries.
Bellerin has been out since January with a knee injury, but is "progressing well and aiming to participate in full training in September".
The same can be said of Tierney (groin) and Mavropanos (groin).
Arsenal fans have been waiting to see Tierney in action, following his arrival from Celtic during the summer transfer window, while Bellerin will be a welcome return in the right-back position.
