Mikel Arteta has cooled fears that Ben White and Martin Zubimendi will not be fit for Saturday’s trip to Fulham.
There had been concerns around the pair after they missed training on Thursday morning.
Arteta, however, has explained that Arsenal were simply managing the players’ workloads.
Zubimendi played twice for Spain over the recent international break - starting both games - while White has struggled for fitness this season.
“All the players come from different countries, different amounts of games and minutes played,” said Arteta.
“We believed that it was the right thing to do [to allow Zubimendi to miss training on Thursday].
“He played two games again, his load has been really high recently - and he needed an extra day. He will be available.”
Asked if it was a similar situation with White, Arteta said: “Very similar.
“We are monitoring all the players and giving a specific menu to each of them, to make sure they are in the best condition.”
There was more good news for Arsenal, with Arteta confirming that Piero Hincapie is fit to face Fulham this weekend.
The defender has played just one minute for the Gunners after joining them on loan from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer.
Hincapie has been out of action due to a groin injury, however he is now back in training.
“He will be training today again with us. If everything is right, he will be available as well,” Arteta said on Friday.
“He is a player that is going to help us a lot, he is going to bring something different to the team - and we need to get him going.”
