Arsenal have been handed a double boost ahead of the trip to face Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Monday night.
The Gunners have confirmed that Alexandre Lacazette is back in full training with the first team squad ahead of the game, with a decision to be made over the coming days as to whether he is fit enough to feature in Yorkshire, after recovering from an ankle injury.
But he is not the only player who could return on Monday night.
Arsenal have today (Thursday) confirmed that Emile Smith Rowe is available for selection again, having fully recovered from a clash of heads in the Carabao Cup tie against Nottingham Forest, with the youngster taken off on a stretcher with a head injury sustained in the collision.
However, Reiss Nelson will not feature against the Blades on Monday, with Arsenal confirming that he is aiming to return to full training in November.
The 19-year-old sustained a knee ligament injury during the recent Europa League match with Belgian side Standard Liege, which has sidelined him since then.
And the Gunners have today (Thursday) confirmed that he is not currently available for selection, but is aiming to return to full training next month.
Not all of Arsenal's players involved in international fixtures are back at London Colney yet, with some not returning until tomorrow (Friday), when the Gunners say they will be assessed ahead of Monday's match.
Meanwhile, the Gunners added that there were no associated issues arising from a 90-minute match against a Reading XI last Friday, which involved non-international first team squad players, and finished 2-2.
