Arsenal great issues Bruno Fernandes prediction after Manchester United goal at Everton

Arsenal great Ian Wright has made a Bruno Fernandes prediction following the Portugal star's strong start at Manchester United .

Fernandes followed up his starring role in United's hammering of Club Brugge last Thursday by scoring a wonderful goal from outside the box goal in the 1-1 draw at Everton.

The 25-year-old made the January transfer window switch from Sporting Lisbon and has since lifted his new team-mates and the United fans.

Now Wright believes that Fernandes is only going to get better at the Reds once his team-mates get used to his style of play.

"He's put up massive numbers in Portugal and everyone thought 'Well, it's just the Portuguese league'," Wright said on BBC Match of the Day 2.

"What will happen as time goes by is his team-mates will get used to him and what he can do.

"I can't wait to see what happens when they do get used to him. Look at how sharp he is, this is what Man United weren't doing before. Everything [before] was so slow and methodical."

Roy Keane also added his praise on the attacking midfielder during his stint on punditry duties for Sky Sports at Goodison Park.

The United legend said: "I liked him today, it was the first time I've really watched him live, and there is a lot of quality about him."
