Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno makes Man City and Liverpool FC Premier League title prediction

Manchester City have the upper hand in the Premier League title race for more than one reason, according to Arsenal star Bernd Leno.

The Arsenal goalkeeper has predicted the final Premier League top four, with Man City currently having the edge over their title rivals Liverpool .

That's because whilst Man City may be two points adrift of Liverpool at the moment, the Blues do have four games left to Liverpool's three.

The match in hand comes this evening as Pep Guardiola's men travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United, with the Blues able to move one point above Liverpool with a victory.

But Leno believes it's more than just the points edge that is in City's favour, with the Arsenal keeper pointing to the Reds' exploits in the Champions League as to why the reigning champions can prevail again.

"(It will be) Manchester City first, because Liverpool also have the Champions League, so maybe they will lose some power and energy from that," Leno told Sky Sports .

But Leno does feel Liverpool have a great opportunity to make the Champions League final despite playing Barcelona in the semis.

"I believe they have a realistic chance against Barcelona, it's 50-50, but City only have the FA Cup final and the Premier League," Leno added.
