Arsenal get shock top four advantage as Rafa Benitez turmoil causes more unrest at Everton

Everton’s recent turmoil has given Arsenal a major advantage to break into the top four, and give the club a major push for Champions League qualification.

The Toffees are on a horrendous run of form in the Premier League, and the fans are set to organize a protest to express their discontent.

The Gunners already missed a great chance to go into the top four, after the defeat to Manchester United on Thursday evening.

However, Goodison Park is set to be a toxic environment for the home crowd, which gives Mikel Arteta’s side another opportunity to secure the sacred fourth sport.

According to the Liverpool Echo, there will be a fan protest in Everton’s fixture against Arsenal on Monday evening after a number of fan organisations shared the same image and message across social media on Friday evening, urging those inside Goodison Park to leave their seats in the 27th minute of the Blues' encounter with the Gunners.

The reason the 27th minute has been chosen is that it signifies how long the club has gone without a trophy.

This bodes a great opportunity for the Gunners to make the fixture feel like a home match and use full advantage of the discontent surrounding the club.

Goodison Park has always been a tough ground for the north London side to visit, with the last recorded win at the stadium being in 2017, which was Arsene Wenger’s last season at the club.

There will not be a better time for the Gunners to end this wretched record, and the timing of the match could not be any better.

Everton has failed to win a single game since September and currently sit 14th in the Premier League table.

According to the Mirror, this has forced Everton chairman Bill Kenwright to call an emergency board meeting with Rafa Benitez's future high on the agenda.

Arsenal desperately needs a win to quickly forget about the disappointing result against Manchester United, and the club has been presented with a great opportunity to do that against Everton on Monday evening.
