Arsenal get Premier League title boost as Man City fixture change helps Mikel Arteta plan

Arsenal's home match against title rivals Manchester City has been rescheduled. The Premier League confirmed that the Champions will visit the Emirates Stadium on February 15.

Kick-off time has been scheduled for 7:30 pm and will be shown on Amazon Prime. The original fixture set for last October was postponed due to the rearrangement of the PSV Europa League fixture.

The game comes with a serious benefit for Arsenal. There was fears the potential title decider could be placed in an awful period for the Gunners, however, it falls kindly amongst games they can build momentum ahead of the clash and also react well from if a bad result is suffered.

Arsenal play Everton (A) and Brentford (H) the two weekends prior to City’s visit. The midweek game will then be followed by two away games against Aston Villa and Leicester City.

Games against Bournemouth (H) Fulham (A) Crystal Palace (H) and Leeds United (H) are then the four subsequent games. Fixtures that Mikel Arteta will want to perform well in ahead of a trickier April and May to end the season.
