Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has posted another positive report on his recovery from knee surgery.
Jesus has been out of action since mid-January after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear during the FA Cup third round tie at home to Manchester United.
The Brazilian then underwent surgery and was subsequently ruled out for the remainder of last season, thus missing out on Arsenal’s run to the Champions League semi-final.
More than six months have gone by since Jesus went under the knife and he is keeping Gunners supporters in the loop with his progress. A latest update, posted to his official X account, shows him back on grass.
Now, it’s not clear as to whether the 28-year-old can move around on grass yet but he included a rather interesting caption which read: “Only God and I Know...”
This is the second update Jesus has posted in the past fortnight as at the end of June he uploaded a 35-second video of him dressed in Arsenal training gear and engaging in skipping drills and strengthening exercises with a resistance band, before jumping from a crouched lunge position into a squat.
Other clips included showed Jesus leaping forwards from a squat position and running on a treadmill.

Jesus’ recovery is set to see him miss Arsenal’s start to the new season and it remains to be seen as to when he will be fit and available for selection.
That said, by the time he is integrated back into the squad he is likely to have his work cut out with regards to game time as a result of the Gunners’ summer transfer business.
In the centre-forward department Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting, whilst Noni Madueke’s imminent arrival from Chelsea will increase the options out wide.
