Arsenal will go into the 2021/22 Premier League campaign looking to improve on one of their most disappointing seasons in recent years, but face a tough start with Brentford, Chelsea and Manchester City up first.
The newly promoted Bees welcome the Gunners to town on the opening day, before Mikel Arteta and Co face Champions League winners Chelsea and then Premier League champions City in a tough August run.
Tottenham come to the Emirates Stadium on September 25, with the return on January 15. Everton are visitors on the final day.
Mikel Arteta’s side came into the 2020/21 season on the back of a morale-boosting FA Cup win at the end of the previous season but things quickly went south, with the side enduring a disastrous run that left the manager under serious pressure until an upturn in form around the turn of the year.
They could still only recover to finish eighth, meaning the club miss out on European football for the first time in 25 years. That all means Arteta has plenty to do this summer as he looks to overhaul and improves his squad ahead of the new campaign.
