Arsenal will begin their Premier League campaign away to Newcastle United after the fixtures for the 2019-20 season were confirmed on Thursday.
Unai Emery will hope his second season in charge of the Gunners ends in better fashion than his first in which Arsenal failed to secure a top-four spot - finishing in fifth place - and lost the Europa League final to London rivals Chelsea.
To add, Arsenal will go into the upcoming Premier League season without the likes of Aaron Ramsey, who has joined Juventus, Petr Cech, who has retired, and released players such as Danny Welbeck.
But the club are keen on strengthening their squad, starting with the capture of winger Yannick Carrasco from Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang in the coming weeks as Emery looks to achieve his aim of securing Champions League football at the Emirates Stadium.
