The run stretches back to their defeat to Barcelona at Camp Nou in late September, surpassing the 18-match unbeaten record they amassed in the 2014/15 season.
Villarreal have only lost once all season across all competitions - also topping their Europa League group - and only La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid have managed to lose so few across league competition to date.
From the 19 games unbeaten, the Yellows have won 11 and drawn eight, a record Emery will be pretty pleased with as he looks to bounce back from an 18-month spell at Arsenal that certainly split opinion.
