Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang couldn’t help but burst out laughing after being asked whether Tottenham are better than Arsenal.
The arch rivals face each other in the north London derby on Sunday, with both sides looking to boost their hopes of qualifying for Europe for next season.
Just a point separates the Gunners and Spurs ahead of their latest encounter, with Mikel Arteta’s side holding the slight advantage over Jose Mourinho’s men.
Ahead of Sunday’s game, Aubameyang took part in a Q&A for Sky Sports, with fans asking the Gunners’ top scorer a variety of true or false questions.
When one supporter suggested that Spurs that might be better than Arsenal, the Gabon international at first appeared confused.
Aubameyang then couldn’t help but laugh, replying: “Are you serious? They’re better than us?”
After being informed that it was a genuine question sent in by a fan, Aubameyang grinned and said it was false, adding: “Come on.”
Aubameyang also spoke about hitting the 50-goal mark for the Gunners, having reached the feat in fewer games than anyone else.
“Really, really proud because when I came here to England, it was a challenge for me to always be a top scorer.
“I always try my best to score goals for the team.”
