Arsenal fans will love what Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has said about Gabriel Martinelli

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has heaped praise of two of Arsenal's young stars, singling out goalscorers Gabriel Martinelli and Joe Willock for particular praise.

Both the Reds and the Gunners played out a thrilling 5-5 draw in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night, with the tie eventually being decided via a penalty shootout. Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos was the only player not to see his spot kick hit the back of the net.

In an end to end game, both Martinelli and Willock found themselves on the scoresheet, with the former adding to his already impressive goalscoring tally with a brace.

Willock scored what looked like it would be the winning goal for Arsenal with a brilliant long range effort, but Divock Origi's stoppage time goal ensured that the game would be decided by penalties.

Following the match, Klopp didn't hold back on his praise for the two Arsenal goalscorers.

“That’s really difficult to deal with these guys. Martinelli’s pretty much the same age [as Liverpool defender Sepp Van De Berg] but he’s a talent of the century, he’s an incredible striker, so it’s really difficult," he tole Liverpool's official website

“Then you have Mesut Ozil around and Willock right, who scored by the way a really nice one, so a team like Arsenal in a counter-attacking mood – we keep them deep, play around them, we lose the ball and then it’s really difficult."
