Arsenal fans will love what Lee Dixon has said about Tottenham

Arsenal and Tottenham are fierce rivals.

Of that there can be no doubt.

New players to each club are told when they arrive of the hatred for the other team in north London and the games every supporter wants to win each season.

For years Arsenal lauded it over Spurs in the Premier League, attracting the better players, winning titles and finishing above Spurs.

But the tide has turned in recent seasons, at least in terms of Spurs finishing above Arsenal.

Arsenal already planning summer transfers

The rivalry between the two sides will go on and on and one former player has decided to open up the dislike between the two clubs once more with a post on social media.

Lee Dixon played more than 600 games for Arsenal during a 14-year spell at the club, winning the Division One title twice, the Premier League title twice and the FA Cup three times.

And it's fair to say he bought into the Tottenham hatred entirely.

The former right-back, who now works as a pundit for the BBC, posted on his official Twitter page on Saturday afternoon what appeared to be a questionnaire that has done the rounds on social media.

In it he made reference to Tottenham, and hating them. A lot.

Here's the tweet.

It's clear that Dixon's feelings towards Tottenham run deep and he is not about to soften in his approach to the white half of north London.

Arsenal fans will certainly love him for that.
