Former Liverpool man John Barnes says that he doesn't think that the Reds will match Arsenal's unbeaten record from the 2003/04 season.
The Gunners went the whole season without losing a game, ultimately lifting the Premier League trophy.
However, Jurgen Klopp's side are on their way to matching that unbeaten record by dropping just one point from 25 games so far this season. Liverpool look certain to go onto win their maiden Premier League title with a 22-point gap separating them and Manchester City in second place.
The Reds face bottom of the table Norwich City this afternoon (Saturday) as they look to increase that unbeaten run.
But Barnes believes that Klopp's men will be beaten this season.
"I think they can go all season unbeaten, but I don’t think they will. I reckon they will lose one game but ultimately, they will still win the title comfortably," he told BonusCodeBets.
"At the end of the day it’s not important for Liverpool to go unbeaten, it’s important to win the league. I can’t see them coming up short against Norwich this weekend, but they will do at some point before the end of the season and that’s fine.
"It doesn’t matter how well your team is doing because it’s the kind of league where anything can happen and a shock result could come against anybody, top or bottom-half.
"I can’t predict which games they will lose, but I do think they will be beaten this season.
Liverpool's biggest test may come in April when they take on second-placed Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
